Say: The man was absorbed in his work.


2 Accuse of, not for.
Don't say: She accused the man for stealing.
Say: She accused the man of stealing.

3 Accustomed to/ used to, not with.
Don't say: I'm accustomed with hot weather.
/ Say: I'm accustomed to hot weather.

4 Afraid of, not from.
Don't say: Laura is afraid from the dog.

Supposed to

من المفروض أو من المفترض

من المفترض أن يكون من أفضل المطاعم في البلد.

 ‘It’s supposed to be the best restaurant in the country.’

و تعني أيضا او تشير الي ما هو متوقع.

‘I’m supposed to only take a half hour for lunch.’

من المفترض ( المتوقع مني) ان اخذ نصف ساعة فقط فرصة للغداء.

و تعني من الممنوع او الغير مسموح.

‘You’re not supposed to smoke in the office.’

ليس من المفروض ( ممنوع) ان تدخن في المكتب.
